Mr. Grant B. Nakhozwe

Mr. Grant Beaton Nakhozwe, the founding member of Moonlight Provident Associates (Pvt) Limited, has extensive experience in the financial services and insurance sectors, where he worked for ANZ Grindlays Bank and Eagle Insurance. In 1995 he formed Moonlight Provident Associates (Pvt) Limited, an insurance concern that provided funeral services and subsequently funeral assurance. Under his visionary leadership, Moonlight Provident Associates has grown to be the largest funeral service provider in the country, with over thirty-five branches throughout Zimbabwe.
Mr. Nakhozwe spearheaded the acquisition of several subsidiaries, including J Davies (Pvt) Limited (the casket Manufacturing entity that supplies caskets/ coffins to Moonlight Provident Associates), Mashfords Services, and Executive Funeral. In 2014, Mr. Nakhozwe championed the incorporation of Moonlight South Africa to bridge the gap in funeral services provision for most Zimbabweans that have emigrated to South Africa.
He was awarded the 2015 Megafest Southern Region “Businessman of the Year” and nominated to the Top 20 Businessmen of the Year for the same year.
Mr. Nakhozwe is a successful farmer and owns Blackstone Farm in Beatrice, Mashonaland East Province. With over 665 hectares, Blackstone farming activities are at a commercial level and include dairy farming, cattle rearing, piggery, sheep, and goat rearing.
Mr. Nakhozwe is also Director of Revellers Pleasures (Pvt) Limited, an entity in the hospitality industry.
